What does it support?

Associations can pursue sector or precinct projects involving workforce development, technology and infrastructure, business capabilities, market channels, branding, productivity or sustainability.

Who can apply?

The applicants are Singapore-registered tourism industry associations and precinct associations undertaking eligible development projects, rather than individual tourism companies in general.

How does the support work?

STB reimburses approved qualifying project costs under the award. Its public information does not set one funding rate or monetary cap for every LEAD project.

What expenditure can qualify?

An approved budget may include professional services, technology and equipment, training, manpower and business-development costs. STB assesses the proposed categories.

Key conditions

The project must not start before application. Assessment considers industry impact, deliverables, qualifying costs and the association’s ability to deliver. Reimbursement follows the Letter of Offer.

Timing and application process

Start by sending STB a proposal or executive summary. Proceed to a formal application following the initial eligibility assessment.

Important programme distinctions

LEAD is an association-led development route. A tourism enterprise seeking support for its own project should consider a scheme intended for company applicants.
