What does it support?

The funding can support post-competition development, solution validation, pilot activity and commercial scaling of eligible finalist innovations. Strengthening the company's Singapore commercial presence can form part of the supported scale-up programme.

Who can apply?

Access is restricted to eligible Global FinTech Hackcelerator finalists. A FinTech company that did not qualify through the competition should consider other FSTI or innovation funding routes rather than regard this as a general application scheme.

How does the support work?

MAS describes a follow-on grant of up to S$500,000. The amount and award depend on the finalist's proposal and MAS assessment; finalist selection alone is not approval for grant support.

What expenditure can qualify?

Potential use of funds relates to further product development, validation and commercial scale-up. MAS's public summary does not specify all eligible cost heads, so detailed spending eligibility needs confirmation through the finalist grant application process.

Key conditions

  • The business must meet the 2026 Global FinTech Hackcelerator finalist access requirement.
  • Finalists may explore pilot relationships and develop a scale-up proposal.
  • Subsequent grant approval is separate from competition finalist status.

Timing and application process

The 2026 finalist cohort was announced on 19 October 2026. Demo Day takes place on 18 November 2026, followed by winner announcements on 19 November 2026. MAS has not published a general application window for companies outside the competition process.

Important programme distinctions

Unlike the more broadly applicable FSTI innovation tracks, the GFH Scale-up Grant is competition-gated. Companies evaluating support for new AI or infrastructure projects should review the other FSTI pathways on their own merits.
