What does it support?
SRG supports the preparation of the company's first sustainability report incorporating ISSB-based climate-related disclosures, including the relevant IFRS S1 climate provisions and IFRS S2 Climate-related Disclosures.
The programme is intended to help companies build reporting capability before their mandatory Singapore climate-reporting timeline.
Who can apply?
The programme applies to eligible Singapore-incorporated SGX-listed companies and Singapore-incorporated companies with annual revenue of at least S$100 million, subject to their mandatory reporting timeline.
STI constituents are no longer eligible. Other listed and non-listed categories remain subject to the detailed timing rules on the current programme page.
How does the support work?
The grant covers up to 30% of qualifying costs, capped at S$150,000, whichever is lower. Each company can make only one SRG application for its first qualifying ISSB-based sustainability report.
What expenditure can qualify?
Qualifying costs include external consultancy, external assurance, equipment and software, and manpower training for permanent or contract employees.
Key conditions
The project generally must not have commenced before application. A company is not eligible if it has already published a sustainability report incorporating ISSB-based climate disclosures or has reached the relevant mandatory compliance timeline. Qualifying assurance providers must meet the prescribed registration or accreditation conditions.
Timing and application process
Application deadlines depend on company category and mandatory reporting timeline. The current public schedule includes 31 January 2028 for certain larger non-STI listed companies and 31 January 2030 for later-reporting listed and non-listed categories. Companies should check the category-specific deadline rather than rely on one universal date.
Confirm the company category and eligible reporting year, define the ISSB reporting scope, obtain detailed quotations for consultancy, assurance, software or training, ensure the project has not commenced, and apply through Enterprise Singapore or EDB depending on local ownership.
Is this scheme relevant to your project?
A strong fit is an eligible listed or larger Singapore-incorporated company preparing its first ISSB-based sustainability report before mandatory compliance. A weak fit is an SME outside the revenue threshold, a company that has already published the qualifying report, or a company already past its mandatory compliance point.
How Reeve | R&D supports the scheme
Reeve | R&D can manage the incentive workstream - eligibility assessment, project structuring, funding or tax-benefit modelling, application preparation, agency interaction and post-award requirements - while the company remains the formal applicant where required by the programme.
