Innovative events, concepts, products, pop-ups and multidisciplinary or hybrid formats, including pilot editions and tourism-oriented product pilots.
This profile should be read as a funding and eligibility guide rather than a substitute for the agency's final assessment. The approved scope, support level and claim treatment remain subject to the governing programme terms and the applicant's specific project.
Who can apply?
Open to legal entities such as businesses, associations and government bodies, subject to STB assessment of tourism potential and scalability.
How much support is available?
Reimbursement-based support determined by STB based on project scope and merits. No universal co-funding percentage is published.
Up to S$1 million per project.
What costs can qualify?
Eligible third-party professional services, production costs including equipment and materials, and approved marketing expenditure.
Key conditions
The project must not have commenced before application. Event or concept pilots may receive support for up to four editions over a maximum four-year period. Product pilots are limited to one production run.
For any project where timing matters, applicants should avoid making irreversible commitments before confirming the programme's pre-start requirements. Where the scheme is discretionary or delivered through an appointed partner, the agency or programme partner retains the final decision on eligibility and quantum.
How and when should you apply?
Applicants first submit an executive summary to STB; formal application follows STB's initial assessment.
Is this scheme relevant to your project?
A strong fit is: A genuinely differentiated tourism concept that needs market test-bedding and has a credible path to repeatability or scale.
A weak fit is: A recurring ordinary event, routine marketing campaign or project already started before application.
How Reeve | R&D supports the scheme
Reeve | R&D can manage the incentive workstream from initial eligibility assessment through project structuring, funding modelling, application preparation, evidence planning, agency interaction and post-award coordination, while the company or eligible applicant remains the formal applicant where required.
