Pre-approved advanced equipment
Up to 50%
S$300,000 per firm
The current tranche runs from 1 Apr 2026 to 31 Mar 2031.
What does it support?
The digital-solutions track supports adoption of pre-approved Built Environment software and digital tools, including solutions for modelling, visualisation, quantity surveying, permitting and contract management.
The advanced-equipment track supports pre-approved productivity equipment such as construction robots, material transporters, inspection and imaging systems, finishing equipment, drilling, tiling and welding solutions.
Who can apply?
The applicant must be a Singapore-registered SME with at least 30% local shareholding, group annual sales turnover of no more than S$100 million or group employment of no more than 200 employees, and primary or secondary activity in an eligible Built Environment SSIC subsector.
How does the support work?
Both tracks provide up to 50% of qualifying costs. The material difference is the cap: S$50,000 for pre-approved digital solutions and S$300,000 for pre-approved advanced equipment per firm over the current five-year tranche.
Firms can make multiple applications subject to the applicable funding cap.
What expenditure can qualify?
Supported expenditure covers the approved purchase, subscription or lease cost of the pre-approved solution or advanced equipment package and any package components specifically recognised by the programme.
Key conditions
The solution or equipment must be pre-approved. The company must not sign or confirm a contract, make a payment or deposit, or otherwise commit to the purchase, subscription or lease before application submission. The same solution cannot be supported more than once, including under previous BE PSG tranches.
Timing and application process
The enhanced tranche is available from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2031. The practical timing issue is the pre-start rule: apply before any contractual or payment commitment.
Applicants identify an eligible pre-approved solution, obtain the required quotation and supporting company information, and submit through the Business Grants Portal. After approval and implementation, claims are reimbursement-based and require evidence that the approved solution has been paid for and used.
Is this scheme relevant to your project?
A strong fit is a local BE SME adopting a listed solution or advanced equipment with a clear productivity benefit. A weak fit is bespoke technology not on the pre-approved list, a non-SME applicant, or a purchase already contractually committed before application.
How Reeve | R&D supports the scheme
Reeve | R&D can manage the incentive workstream - eligibility assessment, project structuring, funding or tax-benefit modelling, application preparation, agency interaction and post-award requirements - while the company remains the formal applicant where required by the programme.
